Statements never belong in uploads here — explain categories you notice only at a high level.

Illustrative mock • not signed-in data • not a real screenshot
- Download buttons are inactive artwork — filenames are generic placeholders.
- Exported PDFs or CSVs may never be uploaded into Community discussions.
Overview
Statements compress weeks of movements into summaries that accountants, auditors, and future-you rely on. Because they inherently carry counterpart breadcrumbs, nothing exported from BinaxPay should be uploaded wholesale to Community—paraphrase patterns instead.
Download cadence realities
- Historical PDF vs CSV completeness can differ—plan reconciliation inside authenticated tooling.
- Geography shifts statement availability windows—don’t extrapolate SLA arguments from anecdotes.
- Community cannot interpret tax classifications; licensed preparers interpret legal categories.
Responsible handling
Checklist before sharing anything externally
- Generate statements only inside signed-in experiences—never rely on forwarded email attachments blindly.
- Encrypt offline copies when you temporarily store downloads on desktops or laptops.
- Totals should be cross-checked inside official exports; screenshot crops still leak metadata.
- Delete orphaned copies immediately after bookkeeping tasks finish.
What you can phrase generically
Year-end pacing
Discuss sequencing—“close books before cards renew”—without quoting statement balances.
"Missing row" anxiety
Describe the month bucket plus category (subscriptions, payouts) minus exact line excerpts.
