Move money
Move funds between your own BinaxPay balances, including same-currency moves and FX conversions.
Move money between your balances
The Move Money tab lets you move funds between your own BinaxPay balances, wallets, accounts, or budget spaces. This is an internal transfer flow—used when you want to reorganize money inside your own BinaxPay account structure instead of sending money to another person or external bank account.
Move Money is different from Send Money because it never pays an external recipient. You can move in the same currency (for example GBP to GBP) or convert between currencies with an FX move (for example USD to GBP). Before confirming, review the source balance, destination balance, amount, receive amount, fee, total debit, and any FX quote details.
Move Money
This screen is the standard same-currency Move Money form. Select the source balance in the From field, select the destination balance in the To field, enter the amount, and optionally add a short reference. The summary shows You receive, Fee, and Total debit before you continue. The screenshot shows a same-currency GBP move from Personal Account · GBP balance to ACCOMODATION, where the sent and received amounts match because no FX conversion is needed.
What this screen does
The same-currency Move Money form lets you transfer funds between two balances that share one currency. You choose where money leaves and where it lands inside your own account structure, enter the amount, and review receive amount, fee, and total debit before continuing.

FX Move Money
Use this screen when you move money between balances in different currencies. The screenshot shows a USD source balance moving into a GBP destination balance. You enter the amount in the source currency, and BinaxPay calculates the destination receive amount. Review From balance, To balance, You send, You receive, Exchange rate, Fee, Total debit, and Quote expiry before continuing. Quote expiry matters because the displayed FX quote may only be valid for a limited time—if it expires, refresh or recalculate before confirming.
What this screen does
The FX Move Money form converts funds from one currency balance to another inside your account. It surfaces the exchange rate, fees, total debit, and quote expiry so you can confirm the conversion before balances update.

Confirm Move
After you select Move Money, BinaxPay shows a confirmation modal—a final check before balances update. For same-currency moves, the modal confirms the amount moved from the selected source balance to the selected destination balance and repeats You send, You receive, Fee, and Total debit. For FX moves, the confirmation step also makes the currency conversion clear, including send currency, receive currency, exchange rate, fee, and total debit where applicable.
What this screen does
The confirmation modal gives you one last chance to verify source, destination, amounts, fees, and FX details before the internal transfer is processed. Cancel returns you to edit the form; Confirm Move completes the movement.

Money moved successfully
This modal confirms the internal balance movement completed successfully and that balances have been updated. It summarizes the amount moved, source balance, destination balance, amount sent, amount received, fee, and total debit. Close returns you to the current area; View in History opens the completed movement in Payment History. For FX moves, the success state shows sent and converted received amounts where available so you can confirm what changed across both currency balances.
What this screen does
The success modal confirms the move finished and shows a final summary of what left the source balance and what credited the destination, including fees. You can dismiss the modal or jump straight to the history record.
