Send money
Learn how BinaxPay guides you through sending money, from choosing a payment type to reviewing, confirming, and receiving payment completion details.
Send money with BinaxPay
The Send Money tab guides you through creating and confirming a payment step by step. The flow is organized into clear stages: Type, Amount, Recipient, and Confirm. This helps you understand where you are in the payment journey, what information is still required, and what must be reviewed before the payment is submitted.
Send Money is designed to reduce mistakes by separating each decision into its own step. You first choose the payment route, then select the funding account or wallet, enter the amount and reference, choose a payment-ready recipient, review the full details, and confirm the payment securely.
Payment type
Choose how you want to send money
What this screen does
The Payment Type step is the first stage of the Send Money flow. It lets you choose the payment route you want to use. Available payment types are shown as cards. In the current flow, International / FX transfer is active, while other payment options such as Internal transfer, Local bank transfer, Move between my accounts, Multi-recipient payment, Pay later, Split payment plan, and Payment Link / QR may be shown as coming soon. This step helps you understand which payment routes are available today and which options are planned for future release.
Expected user flow
- Choose how you want to send money on the payment type screen.
- Review payment type cards and note which routes are available today.
- International / FX transfer is active in the current flow shown in the screenshot.

What this screen does
The Amount & Reason step confirms where the money will come from and how much will be sent. You select the source account and sub account or wallet, review the available balance, enter the payment amount, and add a payment reference. The refresh option lets you check the latest available balance before continuing. The payment amount is entered in the selected wallet’s currency. The final recipient currency or corridor may depend on the approved recipient selected in the next step. This step is important because it confirms the source of funds, the amount, and the reference that may appear in payment records or statements.

- Select the sub account or wallet you want to send from.
- Check the available balance and refresh if you need the latest figure.

- Continue once the source, amount, and reference are correct.
Confirm the source account, wallet, amount, and reference before continuing to recipient selection.
Recipient
Choose who will receive the payment
What this screen does
The Recipient step lets you select the person or business that will receive the payment. Only recipients that are ready for payment should appear in the payment flow. You can search saved recipients, select an existing recipient, or add a new recipient if needed. Selecting the correct recipient before review helps reduce payment mistakes. It also ensures the payment is connected to a recipient that has the required details and readiness status for the selected payment route.
Expected user flow
- Choose who will receive the payment.
- Review ready recipients shown in the list.
- Search saved recipients when you have many payees.
- Select an existing recipient when the details are already on file.
- Add a new recipient where needed before continuing.
- Confirm the correct recipient to avoid sending money to the wrong person.
Choose a payment-ready recipient, or add one where needed, before moving to review.
Review payment
Check all details before confirming
What this screen does
The Review Payment step gives you a complete summary before the payment is submitted. This screen should show the key payment details, including recipient information, source account, wallet or sub account, amount, reference, purpose, transfer type, foreign exchange details where applicable, fees, estimated delivery, and security notes. The payment summary card highlights the most important information, such as the amount, recipient, source account, and confirmation action. This is the final checkpoint before sending. You should carefully review the recipient, amount, source account, exchange rate, fees, delivery information, and reference before selecting Confirm securely.

Secure payment confirmation code
Enter the verification code sent to your email after you confirm securely
What this screen does
After you review the payment details and choose to confirm securely, BinaxPay sends a verification code to your email address. This code is used at the final confirmation stage to make sure the payment is being approved by the account holder before the transaction is submitted. The email shows the verification code, the expiry time, and the payment details connected to the transaction—including amount, recipient, source account, source wallet, reference, payment purpose, date and time, sent amount, recipient amount, exchange rate, and payment reference where available—so you can confirm the code belongs to the exact payment you just reviewed. You should only enter this code inside the authenticated BinaxPay app. If you did not request the payment, do not enter the code and contact support. Treat verification codes as sensitive authentication information and do not share them by email, phone, chat, or with anyone claiming to be support.
Expected user flow
- Review payment details on the Review payment step.
- Choose Confirm securely to start final approval.
- Receive the verification code by email.
- Compare the payment details in the email with what you reviewed in the app.
- Enter the code only inside the authenticated BinaxPay app.
- Complete the transaction once the code is accepted.
